MATRIX3K‘s musical journey began in 2019, leading into a career that took off at the beginning of 2020 in the techno scene of Tokyo.
In Tokyo, MATRIX3K pioneered the queer party series SWITCH, which is now also taking place in Poland. This vinyl addict has left a mark on the on the techno landscape with performances in countries like Poland, Japan, Austria, Germany and South Korea in renowned clubs such as Tresor, Vent, Faust, æve, Jasna1, and Crackhouse just to name a few.
MATRIX3K inspiration is rooted in the earliest European techno scene and the dance sounds coming from the USA in the ‚90s. This passion is reflected in their choice to predominantly use vinyl, carefully selecting only the grooviest and sexiest tracks to ignite the dance floor.
Tino Machauer has established himself as a talented producer and DJ, acclaimed for his deep and hypnotic vinyl sets. With a passion for crisp hi-hats, rhythmic structures, and carefully selected tracks, his sets are a masterclass in how minimalistic and groovy techno can captivate and energise a dance floor.
Lex is the founder and creative force behind shockwerk.
He delivers a signature sound rooted in groove and house, defined by swinging basslines, crisp claps, and dynamic melodies that ignite the dancefloor. Deeply connected to groovy basslines, Lex’s style flows effortlessly between house, tech house and groovy techno creating a captivating and immersive sonic journey.
Slin is a driving creative force behind shockwerk, working closely alongside Lex.
Based in Berlin and strictly vinyl-only, Slin delivers fast-paced, rhythmic, and pounding sets. He digs deep into old-school gems from the ’90s and early 2000s, blending them with groovy, funky techno from both his contemporaries and the new generation. His transitions are smooth and organic, his selections honest and inventive. Slin’s sets are as raw as they are uplifting & always leaving a lasting impression.
His sound has always been rooted in house and electronic elements, but with progressive styles, he is pointing towards rave and techno to have a party full of emotions.
Dipping into deep sounds elaborates his sets into a diversified experience. Between records from the 90s and early 2000s, you will find DJ Floppy Disk bringing energy to the dancefloor and from inside the booth.
Kyly is a lover of the 2000's tribal sound - anything with bongos, loose percussion & tribe vocals will surely fit his record bag as he believes this sound to make for the hottest dancefloors.
Kyly is obsessed with the warmth and unique charackter of early 2000's tribal / techno. It's the rhythm, the joy and the instinctiveness of that era he's truly in love with. Constantly refining his skills & his record collection, Kyly hopes to convey his joy of music to the people listening; creating a vibe that is colorful, cheerful and interactive.
